Job Requirements
- Must be STAR certified
- Must be Food Handler certified
- Ability to work overnight shifts
- Must be able to handle stressful situations professionally
- Flexibility to respond to emergencies and changing guest needs
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Must have relevant supervisory hotel experience
- Ability to perform physical duties such as lifting
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a hotel
- At least 1 year of front office or guest service experience or completion of the Omni LID program
- Experience in cash handling
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and resolve issues quickly
- Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational abilities
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure or emergency situations
- Proficiency with hotel computer systems, OPERA experience preferred
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 30 pounds
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods during the shift and perform repetitive tasks including using telephone and computer
Job Duties
- Oversee overnight operations
- Ensure all hotel departments meet Omni Standards during the overnight shift
- Night audit leadership
- Perform and assist with night audit process at the front desk
- Complete and forward required paperwork in a timely manner
- Conduct training sessions for overnight staff
- Handle and resolve guest complaints promptly
- Be familiar with hotel computer systems for troubleshooting and training
- Ensure adherence to hotel and departmental policies and procedures including safety protocols
- Maintain communication with department managers and provide feedback on staff performance
- Conduct weekly supply inventories and complete rate discrepancy reports
- Block and assign arrivals for the next day including VIPs and special requests
- Prepare group information sheets and perform check-outs with balance reports
- Ensure compliance with fire, security, and safety procedures
- Collaborate with the Loyalty Ambassador to track and service select guests
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
