The position of Housekeeping Room Attendant at the Courtyard by Marriott involves a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the hotel. This role directly contributes to guest satisfaction by ensuring that rooms and public areas meet and exceed quality cleanliness standards. The Housekeeping Room Attendant will engage in a variety of cleaning tasks including bed-making, replenishing linens, vacuuming, and maintaining bathrooms and hallways. The role also entails managing housekeeping carts by loading and unloading supplies, replacing cleaning products, and reporting maintenance issues promptly. Communication with supervisors regarding room status, guest requests, and progress is an important aspect of the job. Additionally, the position requires keen attention to safety and security issues, prompt reporting of unsafe conditions, and proper handling of lost and found items.

This job requires physical stamina given the frequent need to stand, walk long distances, lift, push, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds or more. Individuals in this role will often work in varying environmental conditions including exposure to cleaning chemicals, wet or humid areas, and occasional noise.
