Featuring 240 spacious guest rooms and over 15,000 square feet of flexible event space, the USC Hotel is a premier destination for travelers connected to the university and the surrounding community. The USC Hotel is currently seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to join its expanding team. The role is essential in ensuring that the hotel maintains its high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The Housekeeper will be responsible for performing thorough cleaning of guest rooms and public areas, maintaining linens and supplies, and supporting a hygienic and inviting environment for all guests. This position is full-time, offering an hourly wage of $26.21, reflecting the importance of the role in the overall guest experience.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering the best USC experience by providing attentive and professional service. Their daily tasks include cleaning guest rooms to hotel standards, inspecting public and back-of-house areas, and effectively communicating with guest services to facilitate room readiness. Additionally, the Housekeeper will handle laundry operations, maintain cleaning equipment, and assist with training new and temporary staff to uphold the department’s quality standards. Safety and compliance with university policies, as well as local, state, and federal regulations, are integral responsibilities.

The role requires someone with a minimum of two years’ experience in housekeeping, with good knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and mechanical equipment operation. Although a high school diploma is preferred, it is not mandatory. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, the ability to lift up to 30 pounds, and a professional demeanor aligned with the university environment.
