We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. This role is integral to maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas within our hotel. The Housekeeper ensures that all designated areas meet the company and brand standards, contributing significantly to guest satisfaction and comfort. This position requires daily attention to detail, effective time management, and a proactive approach to housekeeping duties. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.

As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and restocking multiple guest rooms during each shift. This includes completing pre-cleaning duties such as preparing cleaning carts, removing trash and dirty linens, and restocking supplies. Beyond guest rooms, you will maintain the cleanliness of hallways, public spaces, and closets to ensure a welcoming and pristine environment for all hotel guests. Reporting any maintenance issues or missing items promptly to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager is essential to uphold the hotel's quality standards.

The role also entails managing "Lost and Found" items according to established hotel procedures, showcasing your attention to detail and adherence to policy. You will be expected to maintain effective communication with guests, team members, and management to address any concerns or special requests efficiently. Following all procedures as outlined by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager will be crucial to maintaining consistency and excellence in housekeeping services.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or similar environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to perform housekeeping duties including lifting and bending
  • Attention to detail and reliability
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to follow company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or similar environment is an asset
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
  • Good communication skills
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is beneficial

Job Duties

  • Thoroughly clean and restock the required number of guest rooms per shift adhering to company and brand standards
  • Complete all pre-cleaning duties such as setting up cleaning carts with supplies and linens
  • Remove trash and dirty linens from guest rooms
  • Ensure all hallways public areas and closets are clean neat and vacuumed
  • Report missing items or maintenance issues in guest rooms to the Housekeeping Supervisor Manager
  • Handle Lost and Found items according to hotel standards
  • Maintain effective communication with guests team members and management
  • Follow procedures as outlined by the Housekeeping Supervisor Manager
