Job Duties
- Receive a list of rooms and public spaces to be cleaned during shift
- complete all pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies, cleaning supplies and linen for cart set-up
- change bed linens and scrub pots using both hands
- reach overhead for dusting and cleaning equipment tops
- move light furniture to clean underneath
- practice safe use of cleaning agents and follow safety practices
- prepare housekeeping cart for next day's use
- remove all trash and dirty linen from guest suites
- keep hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed
- report missing items from rooms to Executive Housekeeper
- use two-way radios, telephones, general office equipment and housekeeping equipment
- ensure proper care of equipment and report maintenance needs
- maintain personal appearance and grooming standards
- maintain a professional and friendly demeanor
- be attentive, courteous and efficient with guests and staff
- comply with brand standards and regulations
- establish and maintain good communication and teamwork
- exhibit helpful and willing attitude to serve guest requests
- communicate with hotel staff to accommodate special guest requests
- participate in all employee meetings and events
- be familiar with all policies, hotel rules and terminology
