Job Description
The Longfellow Hotel, a 48-room boutique hotel, café, and spa, is seeking a thoughtful, caring, and empathetic General Manager to lead hotel operations. The hotel opened in May of 2024 and has gained national recognition in Esquire, Travel & Leisure, and Conde Nast publications. It is ranked #1 by travelers on TripAdvisor for Portland Hotels and Luxury Hotels in New England. The General Manager will oversee all aspects of organizing hotel operations, including hiring and training of hotel management, front desk and housekeeping staff, organizing repairs and maintenance, and maximizing financial performance and guest satisfaction. This role requires fostering The Longfellow Hotel's culture throughout the Portland business community and rethinking luxury accommodations with a sense of playfulness.
