We are currently seeking a positive and professional Hotel Front Desk Agent to join our team. This role is pivotal as the first point of contact for guests, responsible for delivering an outstanding customer experience from arrival to departure. The position involves managing guest check-ins and check-outs, distributing room keys, handling reservations both in-person and over the phone, and addressing guest inquiries and requests efficiently and courteously. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction.
This position requires flexibility with shift schedules, involving evening and overnight duties including weekends. Experience with night audit processes is a valuable plus. Compensation begins at $22.50 per hour with an expected schedule of 37.5 hours per week. This is an in-person role, offering a hybrid environment where guest interaction takes priority and where teamwork and dedication play a crucial role in operational success. The successful candidate will be proficient in managing reservations, processing payments, and resolving customer complaints effectively, ensuring that every guest departs with a positive impression of our hotel. A preferred qualification includes proficiency in Spanish, enhancing communication with our diverse guest base.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in hotel front desk or related hospitality role
- Availability for evening overnight and weekend shifts
- Ability to work in person
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage stressful situations calmly
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent hotel receptionist or guest service specialist preferred
- Excellent time management skills organizational skills customer service skills and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to guest satisfaction
- Preferred proficiency in Spanish
Job Duties
- Greet check-in and check-out guests when they arrive and leave the premises distribute keys and room assignments record credit card information
- Manage room bookings in-person online and through incoming calls answer inquiries about guests needs including questions about available rooms amenities room rates and special requests
- Park guests vehicles who are utilizing valet services
- General bookkeeping ensure all hotel guest account information is accurate and up-to-date
- Mitigate customer complaints as needed
