The Front Desk Agent role at the Best Western Premier Bridgewood Resort Hotel is a vital position that serves as the primary point of contact for guests throughout their stay. This part-time role offers shifts from 7am to 3pm and 3pm to 11pm, with weekly hours ranging from 16 to 25 hours, and requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays. The duties involve not only handling check-ins and check-outs efficiently but also providing concierge-level assistance by offering information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options. The role demands excellent interpersonal skills, professionalism, and a commitment to resolving guest concerns promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.

As a Front Desk Agent, you will manage front desk operations such as processing reservations, balancing cash and credit reports, operating the Property Management System (PMS) and telephone switchboard, and maintaining the front desk and lobby areas in a neat and welcoming state. This position requires multitasking abilities and a readiness to collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless guest services. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong communication skills, a service-oriented demeanor, and the ability to operate various hotel and room equipment to assist guests effectively. Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet all guests warmly, manage check-ins/check-outs efficiently, and respond to inquiries
  • carry-out front desk responsibilities and clerical duties including checking guests in and out, balancing reports, cash and credit cards, taking and processing reservations, operating the PMS and switchboard
  • provide concierge level guest assistance with offering information on hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining
  • assist with recommendations and dining reservations, event and service reservations
  • fulfill special requests in person or with assistance of other staff
  • process payments, manage reservations, and balance cash and credit reports
  • address and resolve guest concerns striving for complete guest satisfaction
  • demonstrate professional and effective communication skills and basic math aptitude
  • ensure room status is up-to-date and notify maintenance of room repairs immediately
  • maintain a neat and clean appearance at the front desk, lobby, and back office areas
  • follow security protocols for room keys and property
  • work collaboratively with team members to fulfill special requests and provide exceptional service
  • represent company in a friendly and professional manner
  • understand how to operate all hotel and room/suites equipment and amenities and be able to assist guests in such operation
  • perform all other related duties assigned
