This company is dedicated to delivering exceptional marketing solutions by blending strategic brand activation with innovative customer engagement, ultimately supporting their extensive network of hospitality partners. They operate in a hybrid work environment, requiring employees to be onsite three times a week, fostering collaboration and maintaining a dynamic office culture. The position is offered as a year-long W2 contract, with the exciting potential for conversion into a permanent role. Compensation is competitive, with an hourly wage ranging from $34 to $36, reflecting the value the organization places on experienced marketing professionals.

The role of Event Marketing Coordinator is pivotal within the Hospitality channel, where the successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the execution of strategic marketing initiatives. This includes collaborating cross-functionally with sales teams and external partners to create and implement brand activation plans that resonate with the unique demands of hotel, travel, and hospitality accounts. The coordinator will take ownership of various aspects ranging from materials management to onsite event activation, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with brand standards. This role is not just about managing events but about creating compelling marketing stories that support sales efforts and enhance brand visibility in a competitive market. The Event Marketing Coordinator will also be responsible for monitoring program performance, managing budgets, and supporting post-event activities, which includes reporting and lead follow-up to maximize campaign impact. Given the nature of the hospitality industry, the role requires a highly organized, proactive individual capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and adapting to evolving marketing trends and customer needs. There is also a travel component to this position, requiring the ability to travel up to 40% of the time, highlighting the dynamic and hands-on nature of the job. Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, ideally in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred
  • 2-4 years of hotel event experience
  • Hospitality experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in PPT, Excel
  • Self-starter able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong project management skills

Job Duties

  • Support the hospitality marketing manager with the creation and execution of brand activation plans for hotel, travel and hospitality partners
  • Partner with sales to build compelling selling stories and support RFP responses for strategic hotel, travel and hospitality accounts
  • Execute ad hoc solutions for strategic hotel, travel and hospitality partners, including branded materials, experiential concepts, and tailored programs
  • Coordinate operations, materials, and shipping logistics for non-hotel travel and hospitality partners, ensuring timely delivery and execution of marketing programs
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to maintain quality and service standards
  • Activate onsite events related to the hospitality channel, taking full ownership in planning and execution
  • Support post-event reporting and lead follow-up to maximize impact
  • Monitor program performance, customer feedback, and market trends to inform future strategy
  • Coordinate and execute all shows and conference activities related to the hotel, travel and hospitality segment
  • Ensure budgetary compliance and monitoring related to all executed activities
  • Support the sales teams in customer support including activating visibility on property, planning and execution of industry trade shows and events, and partner programming
