Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- at least three years of experience in hotel maintenance or related engineering fields
- proficient in verbal and written communication
- ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk distances, and lift moderate weight
- strong problem-solving skills
- capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities under pressure
Job Qualifications
- strong knowledge of hvac, refrigeration, and electrical systems
- experience in hotel maintenance or related engineering roles preferred
- excellent communication and computer skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical capability to stand for long periods, walk long distances, and handle moderate lifting
- at least three years of relevant experience is preferred
- genuine desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- oversee the operation and maintenance of hotel building systems including HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical engineering
- manage and lead the engineering team ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently
- coordinate with other departments to address maintenance and repair needs promptly
- maintain compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
- conduct regular inspections of the hotel property to ensure operational standards
- develop maintenance schedules and preventative maintenance programs
- assist in budgeting and managing engineering department expenses
