Job Description
Parry's Pizzeria & Taphouse is a vibrant and energetic restaurant known for delivering exceptional dining experiences through Craveably Crafted Food and Beer combined with Uncommon Hospitality. Established with the mission to create memorable moments for every guest, Parry's focuses on high-energy service, teamwork, and an inviting atmosphere that keeps customers coming back. This establishment is not just a place to eat but a community hub where the staff's genuine passion and teamwork shine, cultivating a warm and welcoming environment for all patrons.
The restaurant prides itself on its guest-driven approach, where every team member plays a crucial role in maintaining a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. Parry's recognizes the importance of not just feeding guests but engaging with them, understanding their needs, and making their visit special from start to finish. The company's commitment to quality food, beverage, and service excellence has made it a sought-after dining destination.
Joining Parry's Pizzeria & Taphouse as a Host offers more than the typical greeting role. Hosts are the first point of contact for guests and set the tone for the entire dining experience. They are instrumental in managing the entryway, waitlists, and dining flow to ensure efficient table turns and excellent customer service. This role requires a blend of interpersonal skills, attentiveness, and a proactive attitude to anticipate guest needs and create meaningful connections.
Hosts at Parry's apply the CHEERS philosophy, which emphasizes Cheerful Prompt Greeting, Hospitality First, Engaging Guests, Easing Their Needs, Readiness for Em, and Saying Goodbye with warmth. This approach ensures that guests feel acknowledged, comfortable, and valued throughout their visit. The host is responsible not only for managing seating and wait times but also for supporting servers by sharing key guest information that personalizes the service. They also assist in explaining the menu, promoting specials and loyalty programs, and handling additional duties such as taking to-go orders and maintaining cleanliness.
This position demands a professional and energetic demeanor, with the ability to communicate effectively, engage guests in meaningful conversations, and multitask in a bustling environment. Hosts must be comfortable working nights and weekends and stand for extended periods while lifting light weights up to 20 pounds. Adherence to Parry's uniform and appearance standards is essential to maintain the brand’s polished image.
Working at Parry's offers benefits including flexible scheduling, comprehensive training, career advancement opportunities, and excellent employee discounts. Eligible full-time employees can access health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with a 401(k) plan with company match. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, customer-focused environments and want to be a meaningful part of a dedicated team that values hospitality excellence.
