The company is currently seeking a dedicated Host to join their team. This role involves guiding guests to their appropriate tables as directed by the maître d', greeting and interacting with guests and team members in a friendly and professional manner, and upholding the highest standards of hospitality. The host plays a crucial role in setting the tone for guest experiences by anticipating and accommodating guest needs, managing reservations, and maintaining orderliness and cleanliness in the entrance area. They are responsible for providing a warm and welcoming environment that exemplifies the brand's values and exceeds guest expectations.
The Host will also perform essential side work including setting up the front desk area, organizing menus, collecting menus from tables during the shift, and participating in opening and closing procedures. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask efficiently, and the flexibility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting that can include nightclubs and lounges, often during evening and weekend shifts. Participation in training sessions and departmental meetings is expected to stay updated on best practices, company standards, and hospitality knowledge related to Tao Group and its partners.

Job Qualifications
- Previous hospitality experience
- previous host person experience
- experience in a high-volume restaurant, nightclub, or lounge

Job Duties
- Guide guests to appropriate tables as directed by the maître d'
- interact with guests, team members, and supervisors politely and courteously
- anticipate and accommodate guest needs
- maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the entrance area
- comply with Department of Health and company sanitation standards
- take and process reservations for guests
- assist with incoming calls and answer guest questions
- check guests' coats and belongings where applicable
- assist with setting up front desk area and perform side work as directed
- ensure all menus are printed and current
- collect menus throughout the venue during shifts
- perform opening and closing side work as prescribed
- report breakage and damage of equipment or furniture to management
- attend daily pre-service meetings and training sessions
- demonstrate knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality and supporting environments
- work as part of a team and provide support to team members
- assist with additional tasks as assigned
