Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in fine dining or hospitality preferred
  • ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent communication and customer service skills
  • must obtain TABC (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission) certification and ServSafe certification by first date of employment
  • ability to work scheduled hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • successful completion of background check and drug screening

Job Duties

  • Greet members and guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality
  • manage reservations using the club's dining system (e.g., OpenTable or similar)
  • maintain a waitlist during peak times and communicate accurate wait times
  • coordinate table assignments to maximize flow and server efficiency
  • provide accurate information about menu offerings, club events, and dining hours
  • respond to special member requests, dietary needs, or accessibility concerns
  • communicate with service staff to ensure smooth seating transitions
  • monitor dining room appearance and ambiance (lighting, music, cleanliness)
  • maintain the entry and hostess stand in pristine, organized condition
  • support additional front-of-house duties as needed
