The Host/Hostess position at The Odyssey is a critical role responsible for creating memorable first and last impressions for guests arriving at the restaurant. This role involves greeting and welcoming guests with a warm, professional demeanor, managing guest seating efficiently by balancing preferences and server sections, and maintaining the overall flow of the front-of-house operations. Additionally, the Host/Hostess handles reservations, provides accurate wait times, communicates effectively with servers and management, and addresses guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude.
