Job Description

Trilogy Sunstone is a premier community nestled within the larger Sunstone Master Plan, located in the highly desirable northwest area of Las Vegas, Nevada. It offers resort-style living with modern amenities designed to foster a vibrant and active lifestyle for its residents. The community is structured around a stunning Resort Club concept that combines elegance, comfort, and social opportunities. Trilogy Sunstone notably boasts stylish communal spaces that encourage neighbors to engage in outdoor activities or enjoy an evening on the town. Whether it is the proximity to breathtaking natural sites such as Red Rock Canyon or the quick access to the dynamic Las Vegas Strip, Trilogy Sunstone provides a perfect balance of tranquility and excitement.

Trilogy Sunstone is currently seeking a Host or Hostess to join its Food & Beverage team. This role is essential in creating a warm and welcoming environment for guests arriving at the dining area. The position involves greeting guests cheerfully, managing seating efficiently to ensure a smooth flow within the restaurant, and coordinating with food servers to enhance the overall dining experience. Reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Manager, the Host or Hostess acts as the first point of contact for visitors, setting the tone for their entire restaurant visit.

Key responsibilities include monitoring guest comfort, handling reservations and to-go orders, and assisting servers by clearing tables and refilling drinks. The role also requires the ability to manage cash and card transactions accurately. Hosts and Hostesses at Trilogy Sunstone are expected to embody the core values of BlueStar Resort and Golf—honesty, integrity, respect for the individual, teamwork, and competitive spirit. They must maintain a positive attitude, demonstrate customer orientation, and be able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time position offering $20 per hour with an attractive benefits package. Benefits for eligible employees include medical, dental, and life insurance after 60 days, paid time off accrued at 120 hours per year for full-time team members, seven paid holidays annually, and a 401(k) plan after 30 days of service. Part-time employees also qualify for paid sick leave according to state laws. The position requires a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends, reflecting the dynamic nature of hospitality work.

Work conditions typically include an indoor restaurant setting but may also involve outdoor patio service or event support, where employees are exposed to varying weather conditions and natural surroundings. The role is physically active, requiring extended periods of standing and walking, and the capacity to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds. The ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and work independently with minimal supervision is crucial.

Joining Trilogy Sunstone offers an opportunity to be part of a community-focused team within a luxurious resort setting in an exceptional location. The Host or Hostess position is more than a job—it is a chance to contribute significantly to the guest experience and uphold the high standards of hospitality that define Trilogy Sunstone and BlueStar Resort & Golf.
