Additional tasks include arranging tables, chairs, and utensils appropriately, verifying the cleanliness and completeness of menus, and maintaining orderly service areas throughout the day via consistent cleaning procedures. The role requires vigilance in monitoring seating availability, guest security, and overall satisfaction to uphold the highest standards of hospitality. Adherence to Marriott’s safety and operational policies is essential, including reporting incidents and participating in safety training and certification programs. Professional appearance and confidential handling of company information are mandatory to preserve the brand's esteemed image.

Interaction extends beyond face-to-face guest service; team communication using clear, professional language and proper phone etiquette is also vital. The role supports a positive work atmosphere by fostering cooperation, addressing concerns thoughtfully, and contributing to common team objectives. Physical demands include standing, walking, and assisting with light lifting throughout shifts, with a requirement to move objects up to 10 pounds independently. Reasonable additional duties may be assigned by supervisors.

Marriott International promotes equal opportunity employment, celebrating diverse backgrounds and creating an inclusive culture that values every associate. The position provides access to comprehensive benefits such as medical coverage, retirement plans, paid time off including sick leave, life insurance, disability insurance, and other wellness perks, subject to eligibility and applicable waiting periods.

Joining JW Marriott means becoming part of a luxury hotel brand that not only values guest satisfaction but invests deeply in its people, encouraging personal and professional growth.
