The role of Host/Hostess is integral to our restaurant’s success. In this front-facing position, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, greeting them with warmth and professionalism. You will thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced setting by managing seating arrangements efficiently while upholding a friendly and outgoing demeanor. This role goes beyond just seating guests; it includes maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the entry area and host stand, communicating effectively with both guests and staff, and assisting service and bar team members as needed. Your ability to manage the restaurant waiting list during peak times will ensure smooth operations and an excellent guest experience. This position requires someone who can multitask, remain calm under pressure, and always prioritize guest satisfaction. Moreover, you will perform side work and assist with management-led projects, highlighting your proactive and flexible nature. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of 6 months of customer service, retail sales, or food service experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
- Ability to bend, lift, and stand to perform normal job functions
- Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, as well as converse comfortably with guests in English
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of 6 months of customer service, retail sales, or food service experience preferred

Job Duties
- Greeting guests in a friendly and inviting manner
- Engaging in friendly conversation as you seat guests in a timely fashion
- Managing restaurant waiting list during high volume
- Accurately seat guests according to wait times and special needs
- Maintain the entry area, host stand and menus
- Assist service and bar staff
- Communicate with staff and management to ensure that guest's expectations are exceeded
- Clear, clean and reset tables to ensure they are ready for the next guest
- Always sincerely thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
- Complete side work and any additional projects at the discretion of management
