As a Host or Hostess, you will be the welcoming face of our restaurant. This role is integral in creating the first and lasting impression for guests by greeting them warmly and managing their seating in a timely and organized manner. Working in a high-volume environment, you will engage with guests through friendly conversation while efficiently managing the restaurant’s waiting list during peak times. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential, as you will be responsible for seating guests according to wait times and special needs, ensuring that each guest feels valued and well cared for. Beyond seating guests, you will maintain the cleanliness and organization of the entry area, host stand, and menus, setting the tone for a pleasant dining experience.
Your duties will extend to supporting service and bar staff by facilitating smooth operations and maintaining clear communication with both team members and management. This coordination helps ensure that guest expectations are not only met but exceeded throughout their visit. Additional responsibilities include clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables promptly so the next guests can be seated without delay. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- high School diploma or GED preferred
- minimum of 6 months of customer service, retail sales, or food service experience preferred
- demonstrated ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
- ability to bend, lift, and stand to perform normal job functions
- ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, as well as converse comfortably with guests, in English
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Greeting guests in a friendly and inviting manner
