The role’s duties include greeting and thanking guests upon arrival and departure, knowing returning guests by name and preferences, answering the phone promptly with a smile, managing waitlists efficiently with accurate information and estimated waits, accommodating seating preferences without disrupting service flow, and ensuring the front desk and entryway remain clean and well-stocked with supplies. Hosts are also expected to maintain compliance with all safety, sanitation, and administrative policies and to communicate effectively with team members throughout their shifts.
