This role focuses on delivering fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service within the restaurant operations of PENN Entertainment. Employees in this position engage directly with guests by greeting and seating them with enthusiasm and professionalism, maintaining a clean and well-organized workspace, and assisting restaurant servers and bussers when needed. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Ability to work on a POS system
  • Ability to count cash
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
  • Must meet professional appearance standards
  • Physical mobility with reasonable accommodations
  • Ability to respond to visual and oral cues
  • Ability to reach above and below the shoulder, grip small items, bend, stoop, and twist
  • Ability to stand and walk up to four hours
  • Ability to tolerate noise and bright lights
  • Must maintain neat, well-groomed, professional appearance
  • Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs
  • Must maintain good posture and poise

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience in a high-volume operation preferred
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Proficient in using POS systems

  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
  • Physical capability to perform job duties including mobility and strength
  • Ability to tolerate noise, bright lights, and industry standard cleaning chemicals

Job Duties

  • Provide fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to restaurant guests and staff
  • Greet and welcome each guest entering the restaurant
  • Seat guests according to specified rotation requirements
  • Maintain proper seating and reservation documentation
  • Monitor restaurant for table availability
  • Keep designated working areas clean and organized
  • Assist servers and bussers with duties such as refilling drinks, pre-bussing, and attending to guest needs
  • Complete all assigned closing duties at end of shift
  • Promote current casino events and provide guests with directions
  • Thank customers, invite them back, and encourage return visits
