The role of Host / Hostess / Greeter at Fogo de Chao is vital in creating a first impression that resonates with warmth, professionalism, and hospitality. The Host / Hostess is responsible for greeting each guest promptly and facilitating a welcoming guest experience from the moment they enter the restaurant. This position requires managing the seating arrangements efficiently to ensure guests are comfortably seated at the appropriate tables, all while maintaining a smooth flow within the front lobby. Additionally, the host or hostess plays an essential part in maintaining the organization, cleanliness, and stocking of the front lobby area during their shift. Managing competing demands with grace and professionalism is a critical aspect of this role, ensuring guests feel valued and attended to at all times. The role also includes bidding farewell to guests on departure, completing any beginning or closing shift duties, and working collaboratively with the restaurant team to contribute to an exceptional dining experience. Employment in this position offers a pay range of $16.90 to $19.90 per hour, dependent upon relevant work experience.
