Job Description

Signia by Hilton La Cantera Resort and Spa is a premier luxury resort nestled in the picturesque Texas Hill Country. This resort boasts breathtaking views from its elevated location above rolling hills and live oak trees, making it a serene destination for travelers seeking relaxation and upscale amenities. It features over 140,000 square feet of event space which makes it an ideal location for conferences, weddings, and other social gatherings. The resort offers guests the ultimate luxurious experience with its world-class spa, outdoor pools, a kid's camp, and a top-rated 18-hole championship golf course. There are four distinguished restaurants and five bars on-site, including Sweetfire Kitchen, where guests enjoy bold and flavorful dining experiences. Conveniently, the resort is easily accessible to premier shopping destinations, vibrant dining options, Six Flags amusement park, and the San Antonio Airport, attracting a diverse mix of leisure and business travelers.

The role of a part-time Host at Sweetfire Kitchen within Signia by Hilton La Cantera is a vital and rewarding position focused on delivering exceptional hospitality and guest service. Working as a Host in this upscale restaurant setting means you will be the warm and welcoming first point of contact for all guests dining at Sweetfire Kitchen. This position is primarily morning shifts, with 4-5 shifts per week, requiring open availability. The Host is responsible for greeting guests warmly, managing guest seating efficiently, and ensuring that the flow of the dining room remains smooth and inviting. This role goes beyond simple seating duties—instead, it demands a genuine passion for creating unforgettable first impressions and meaningful guest connections that enhance the overall dining experience.

As a Host, you are entrusted with multiple operational responsibilities such as managing the seating chart dynamically, monitoring dining activity, and supporting the team by completing opening and closing tasks, including stocking and folding silverware. Your responsiveness and knowledge when addressing guest inquiries and special requests will significantly impact guest satisfaction. This role requires someone who embodies Hilton's core values of hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and urgency. It is about bringing light and warmth to every guest interaction and creating a memorable experience that encourages repeat visits and positive word-of-mouth.

Hilton is committed to fostering a workplace culture that supports not only guests but also its employees. As part of the team at Signia by Hilton La Cantera, you will benefit from a strong support system that includes incredible travel discounts, an employee stock purchase program, paid parental leave, personalized caregiving and crisis concierge services, mental health resources, generous paid time off, comprehensive health and welfare benefits, and financial security plans. This passion for employee wellbeing and development reflects Hilton’s reputation as a global hospitality leader and a great place to work. Being part of the Hilton family means contributing to an award-winning workplace culture founded on hospitality excellence and dedicated to providing the best experience for both guests and team members alike. Join this dynamic environment and help make every guest stay a magical and unforgettable experience.
