This particular opportunity opens the door to becoming a part-time Host at Panevino, where the primary responsibility will be to warmly welcome guests and efficiently manage the host station. This role is essential to ensuring guests receive a smooth and enjoyable dining experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, the individual will review the floor plan daily and create effective seating charts by coordinating the reservation book. Seating guests promptly while maintaining control over wait times is a critical function, contributing directly to the guest satisfaction and overall operational flow. The host also plays a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and proper setup of the dining and serving areas, ensuring that the restaurant environment is welcoming and well-organized.
Communication skills are essential as the Host needs to interact with guests, addressing their concerns, responding to complaints, and expressing appreciation as guests depart. Additionally, handling the restaurant telephone line during operating hours is part of the duties, requiring the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in guest service is preferred but not mandatory, and flexibility in scheduling is offered with shifts available during days, evenings, weekdays, and weekends. This role is a tipped position, offering an hourly wage of $20.00 plus potential tipping earnings.

Job Requirements
- No high school diploma or GED required
- Prior experience in a guest service environment preferred
- Ability to maintain a high energy level in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members
- Ability to remain on feet for the entire length of the shift
- Ability to maneuver between tables and around corners
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds
