The Host / Hostess position at Acts is a critical frontline role focused on ensuring that residents and guests enjoy a positive and welcoming dining experience. The responsibilities of the role include greeting guests, seating tables efficiently, distributing menus, and addressing any initial inquiries from residents or visitors. This position also involves managing phone calls, coordinating call-ahead seating reservations, and handling walk-in guests utilizing reservation software. Additionally, the Host / Hostess processes payments and meal credits through the point-of-sale (POS) system. The role is designed for candidates who possess a friendly demeanor, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service within a community-oriented environment.
