The role available is for a Front of House Host in one of Driftwood Hospitality Management's properties, focusing on thoughtful guest engagement and hospitality services that set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. The Front of House Host serves as the first point of contact for guests entering the outlet, responsible for warmly greeting them, directing them to appropriate seating, and ensuring their overall satisfaction throughout their visit. This position is integral to the smooth operation of the dining service and requires a friendly, attentive, and service-oriented professional. The role operates within a dynamic environment that runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week, meaning flexible shifts that may vary in start times and days are standard to meet the operational demands.
Key duties include managing guest reservations, overseeing the seating arrangements, maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of tables and service stations, and assisting servers with delivering orders and clearing tables. The Host is also responsible for upholding strict health standards through general cleaning tasks and ensuring a safe work environment by adhering to safety and security protocols. Physical stamina is essential for this position as it entails constant standing, walking, and the ability to carry loads up to 30 pounds. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of state, federal and corporate liquor regulations related to serving alcoholic beverages
- current Food Handler Card or in process of obtaining certification
- basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations and service standards
- understanding of guest relations and etiquette
- knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware
- basic English language skills for understanding customer inquiries and communicating instructions
- ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions for safety
Job Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival and seat them comfortably with menus
- take reservations by phone and in person providing accurate responses
- ensure tables are clean and properly set before seating guests
- maintain seating charts for station rotations
- keep service podium tidy and organized
- serve guests beverages, breads, and butter and replenish as necessary
- transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area for cleaning
- perform general cleaning tasks to maintain health standards
- fold napkins to maintain supply throughout meal periods
- stock and maintain service stations with proper supplies before, during, and after shifts
- assist servers with delivering orders and pre-busing tables
- clean unexpected spills and handle special guest requests
- adhere to all company policies and procedures
- follow safety, security, and emergency procedures
- utilize protective equipment and report unsafe conditions
- maintain neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
- assist other restaurant personnel when needed
- perform other duties as requested by supervisor or manager
