The position involves greeting guests as they arrive, accurately determining the size of their party, and seating them at clean, available tables. In addition to seating responsibilities, you will assist guests through the dining rooms, manage table arrangements for groups with special needs, and monitor the dining area to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons.
The ideal candidate will be attentive to detail, ensuring place settings are complete with napkins and clean silverware, menus are current and pristine, and that the work areas are kept tidy throughout the day by following clean-as-you-go protocols. Additionally, the role requires answering phones with a friendly voice, taking to-go orders with knowledge of the menu, and potentially assisting with bussing shifts in this tipped position.

Job Duties
- Greet guests and determine the number in their party
- seat guests by finding a clean, available table
- pull out chairs
- place clean and current menu in front of guests
- guide guests through the dining rooms and provide needed assistance
- move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings for special needs groups
- ensure place settings are appropriate with napkins and clean silverware
- check menus for cleanliness, currency, and availability
- maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
- monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being
- answer phone with friendly and inviting voice
