Job Description

Cooper's Hawk is a renowned lifestyle brand that combines the finest elements of Napa Valley with a modern dining experience. Established in 2005, Cooper's Hawk operates a Napa-style tasting room featuring wine-inspired retail and a full-service restaurant, bar, and private event space. Known for its commitment to high-quality, scratch-kitchen menu items designed to complement its award-winning wines, the company provides a unique and sophisticated yet casual dining atmosphere. The Cooper's Hawk Wine Club is one of the largest in the world, offering exclusive benefits, including curated dining and travel experiences to its members. Alongside its core brand, Cooper's Hawk also operates Piccolo Buco, which brings the vibrant, authentic flavors of Rome to its guests. This dual-brand approach allows Cooper's Hawk to offer both innovative culinary experiences and exceptional hospitality, creating memorable moments for guests and Wine Club members alike.

The Host role at Cooper's Hawk is a pivotal position that sets the tone for the entire guest experience. From the initial greeting to the final farewell, Hosts embody the company's principle of Uncompromising Hospitality, ensuring every guest feels personally cared for from the moment they enter. Hosts manage the flow of the dining room efficiently, balancing table seating and pacing to provide excellent service without long waits or bottlenecks. Responsibilities include greeting guests warmly with energy and enthusiasm, answering guest phone calls with professionalism, maintaining the host area, and supporting the service team to keep operations running smoothly. This position requires clear and constant communication with the team and managers, adjustment of seating plans to accommodate special requests, and a genuine knowledge and passion for food, wine, and the overall guest experience. The role is ideal for candidates who thrive in fast-paced environments with strong multitasking skills and a commitment to teamwork and exceptional service. Employees benefit from a competitive hourly wage ranging from $17.15 to $18.00, determined by skills, experience, and qualifications, coupled with a robust benefits package that supports overall well-being and professional growth. Benefits include dining and retail discounts, monthly wine tastings, medical and dental insurance, 401k plans with company match, paid time off, flexible schedules, early pay access, wellness and mental health support, wine and culinary education, and career advancement opportunities. Cooper's Hawk embraces diversity and is an equal opportunity employer, providing reasonable accommodations throughout the employment process. This position is vital in continuing Cooper's Hawk's tradition of excellence and hospitality while offering employees the chance to be part of an innovative and acclaimed brand in the hospitality industry.
