Job Duties
- Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas
- assign patrons to tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation
- answer the phone and take to-go orders when necessary
- keep the host stand neat, tidy, and presentable for guests
- wipe and set tables, replace condiments or other supplies
- scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning
- run food as needed to both bar and server’s tables
- assist the servers with any needs they may have to keep the guests happy
- respond to any guest's requests during the shift
