Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a host or in a customer service role preferred
- Ability to work in person with flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks as needed
- Proficiency with POS systems is preferred
- A positive attitude and a passion for guest satisfaction
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience as a host or hostess in food service or restaurant settings is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests team members and management
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for managing reservations and guest check-ins
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly approachable demeanor
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and guest relations best practices
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly with a friendly smile and positive attitude making them feel immediately welcomed
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently ensuring smooth flow during busy hours
- Answer phone inquiries with professionalism providing accurate information about services and wait times
- Maintain clear communication with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate seating and service flow
- Assist guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their overall experience
- Handle guest concerns promptly and courteously turning any issues into positive resolutions
- Keep the host station organized clean and stocked with necessary materials to support daily operations
- Help buss tables promptly as needed
