The role centers around providing exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills to ensure every member and guest has a positive dining experience from arrival until departure. Responsibilities focus on managing the flow of the restaurant, including answering phones, scheduling reservations, greeting guests, and conveying special requests accurately to management, servers, and kitchen staff for timely and courteous service. The ideal candidate thrives in a busy restaurant environment, demonstrating professionalism, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude throughout their shift.
Other key tasks include assisting the dining room staff by setting and clearing tables promptly to maintain the dining area's cleanliness and readiness, managing the restaurant's waiting list during peak times to set realistic guest expectations and uphold smooth operations, and taking to-go orders to accommodate guests preferring dining off-premises. Moreover, ensuring menus are clean, current, and plentiful supports the overall dining experience. Maintaining an organized work area and undertaking side work or other reasonable duties assigned by management are essential aspects of this role.

- Able to work in a busy restaurant environment
- Help dining room staff by setting and clearing tables
- Managing restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set guest expectations
- Knowledge of the menu
- Take to-go orders
- Reviews all reservations and communicates all special requests to managers, servers and kitchen to ensure prompt and courteous service
- Check menus to ensure they are current, clean, plentiful
