Job Requirements

Ability to take direction and to work in a team environment
Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge
Knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
Basic English language and professional communication skills
Able to independently lift to 15lbs for an extended period
Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs with food items and dishes throughout shift
Must be able to walk and/or stand for 8-10 hours per day
Hand-eye coordination
Reaching, bending twisting, stooping
Pushing and pulling
Lifting overhead
Must be able to climb stairs in restaurants with multiple levels

Job Qualifications

Greet guests warmly and manage the seating process to ensure an efficient flow in the dining room
Explain the unique Nando's service style to customers in an approachable and friendly manner
Recognize regular customers and provide a personalized experience
Maintain poise and deliver superior service even during busy or stressful periods
Accommodate the needs of special guests and handle seating requests effectively
Work collaboratively with team members to support overall restaurant operations
Ensure the dining area is welcoming and maintain a positive atmosphere
