Job Requirements

Ability to stand for long periods up to 9 hours
capacity to safely lift food and drink items weighing 20 to 25 lbs
punctuality and reliability

Job Qualifications

Experience in customer service or foodservice/hospitality industry preferred
reputation for providing excellent service
ability to multitask effectively
able to work independently and as part of a team
professional communication skills in person and by phone
ability to maintain high energy levels during shifts
basic math skills
prior experience recommended

Job Duties

Monitor the restaurant for empty and clean tables
estimate wait times for guests
ensure all guest needs are met while waiting
answer telephone calls
rearrange tables to accommodate large parties
maintain the host/cashier counter
assist in bussing tables when needed
receive and enter to-go orders into POS system
respond promptly to guest requests
communicate guest requests to servers
work collaboratively with FOH and BOH staff
welcome guests and thank them upon departure
seat guests in a timely manner
