Job Qualifications

  • prior experience recommended

Job Duties

  • Monitor the restaurant for empty and clean tables
  • estimate wait times for guests
  • ensure all guest needs are met while waiting
  • answer telephone calls
  • rearrange tables to accommodate large parties
  • maintain the host/cashier counter
  • assist in bussing tables when needed
  • receive and enter to-go orders into POS system
  • respond promptly to guest requests
  • communicate guest requests to servers
  • work collaboratively with FOH and BOH staff
  • welcome guests and thank them upon departure
  • seat guests in a timely manner
