The Host role at Pearlz Columbia is a critical position responsible for being the very first smile and point of contact that guests encounter upon arriving. This role requires a warm, welcoming, and energetic individual who can manage the seating flow efficiently while maintaining a positive vibe that embodies the spirit of Pearlz. The host not only greets and seats guests but also communicates wait times clearly, manages waitlists and reservations using platforms like Resy, and assists with takeout orders and phone reservations. The ability to multitask and stay cool under pressure is important as the host helps maintain the smooth operation of the dining area. Additional responsibilities include helping to reset tables, running food when necessary, and keeping the host station clean and organized. This full or part-time position offers a pay range from $7.25 to $15 per hour, depending on experience and energy brought to the role.
