This role, the Host position, is integral to maintaining the esteemed reputation of Ruth's Chris by being the first and last point of contact with guests. Hosts are responsible for delivering the warmest welcomes and memorable farewells, creating an inviting atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. They coordinate and manage guest flow efficiently, ensure timely seating arrangements, and engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner. The role demands a passionate individual who thrives on delivering legendary hospitality with an authentic and personable approach. In addition to direct guest interaction, hosts handle incoming restaurant calls, answer questions, and provide information, ensuring communication is seamless and courteous. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Provide a warm welcome to each guest who calls or visits the restaurant
  • Coordinate and control guest flow at the door by greeting arrivals, seating guests, and providing a warm farewell
  • Walk guests to their table and engage them during the journey
  • Answer incoming restaurant calls in a friendly and professional manner
  • Communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Work collaboratively as a team player
