Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • A genuine love for hospitality and desire to create unforgettable experiences
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with strong multitasking skills
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays
  • Team spirit and clear communication
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide friendly and genuine customer service
  • Basic knowledge of food and wine is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with energy and enthusiasm from the first interaction
  • Answer guest phone calls with professionalism and hospitality
  • Follow checklists to set up the host area for a smooth shift
  • Maintain a professional image by adhering to appearance and behavior guidelines
  • Keep track of table flow and dining room pacing to deliver excellent guest experiences
  • Adjust seating plans to avoid bottlenecks and reduce wait times
  • Manage special seating requests consistent with table availability
  • Communicate constantly with managers and team members to keep service seamless
  • Support servers and service assistants as needed
  • Answer questions about food, wine, and experiences with warmth and knowledge
  • Share insights about Barrel Reserve wine during guest escorts to tables
  • Help with light side work and maintain the entry area
  • Keep phone etiquette polished and professional when handling reservations and calls
