Job Description
Cooper's Hawk is a renowned hospitality brand that seamlessly combines a modern dining experience with a Napa-style wine tasting room and premium wine-inspired retail. Established in 2005, Cooper's Hawk has cultivated a unique lifestyle brand that extends beyond just dining; it offers guests an immersive experience that includes a full-service restaurant, bar, and private event spaces carefully designed to complement their award-winning wines. The company prides itself on delivering an unparalleled culinary experience through its scratch-kitchen menu, where each dish is thoughtfully crafted to enhance the enjoyment of their wines. Additionally, Cooper's Hawk hosts one of the world’s largest wine clubs, providing members with exclusive benefits such as curated dining events, travel experiences, and access to limited-edition wines. The recent addition of Piccolo Buco by Cooper's Hawk further broadens their culinary offerings, introducing vibrant Roman flavors that enrich their diverse cuisine and elevate their dining portfolio. Cooper's Hawk is firmly established as a leader in the hospitality and lifestyle sector, focusing on high-quality guest experiences and fostering a strong community of wine lovers and food enthusiasts.
The role of Host at Cooper's Hawk is fundamental to setting the tone for the entire guest experience from the moment guests arrive until their departure. Hosts are the first point of contact and ambassadors of the brand’s uncompromising hospitality ethos. This position involves warmly greeting guests, managing table flow efficiently, and engaging in helpful conversations to ensure personalized attention for every guest. Ideal candidates are energetic, professional, and have a genuine passion for hospitality. Hosts play a crucial part in facilitating smooth dining room operations by overseeing seating arrangements, managing wait times, and responding to special seating requests. They are also expected to communicate effectively with managers and team members to maintain seamless service. Beyond operational tasks, Hosts contribute to memorable guest experiences by sharing knowledgeable insights about the wine selections, including the exclusive Barrel Reserve wine, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere at the entryway. The job requires the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while upholding a polished, professional image. Cooper's Hawk offers competitive benefits and flexible schedules to support the well-being and growth of their team members. The position requires readiness to work weekends and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry. This role is ideal for individuals who aspire to develop their careers within a prestigious company known for excellence in both wine and dining services. Cooper's Hawk values diversity and is an equal opportunity employer, committed to providing reasonable accommodations throughout the employment process. Overall, the Host position is pivotal in ensuring each guest leaves with a lasting positive impression and a desire to return.
