As a brand, Red Robin is dedicated to serving up burgers beyond imagination, complemented by their world-famous bottomless steak fries and a welcoming environment that fosters a sense of belonging for all guests. Founded with a mission to make every meal fresh, fun, memorable, and full of smiles, Red Robin goes beyond just food—they create connections and generate joy for every guest who walks through their doors.
Red Robin stands out not only for its amazing food and friendly atmosphere but also for its commitment to career growth and employee development. Many of their managers began as hourly team members, demonstrating the company's dedication to promoting from within and providing excellent growth opportunities. Red Robin is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusion, welcoming people of all backgrounds who share a passion for hospitality and teamwork.
The Host role at Red Robin is a crucial part of the Front of House team. As a Host, you serve as the first point of contact for guests, responsible for delivering a warm and friendly greeting while escorting guests to their tables. In addition to managing seating arrangements, hosts also take reservations and handle wait lists during busy periods, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for all patrons. This position requires excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to remain composed and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy engaging with people and are passionate about creating memorable moments for guests. At Red Robin, Hosts play a vital role in setting the tone and energy of the dining room, contributing to the restaurant’s reputation as a fun and welcoming place to dine. The position is open to candidates aged 15 and older, providing opportunities for young individuals to start their careers in hospitality with a reputable and supportive employer.
Red Robin offers competitive compensation starting at a minimum wage with the possibility of earning $15.05 per hour, along with several valuable benefits. Employees aged 18 and over become eligible for health insurance options that include health, vision, dental, accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity coverage, ensuring comprehensive protection for themselves and their families. Paid time off accrues at a rate of 0.0192 hours for every hour worked after one year of service for those working 35 or more hours per week, supporting work-life balance and employee well-being.
Additionally, Red Robin promotes a flexible work schedule designed to accommodate different lifestyle needs and commitments. Team members can enjoy a 25 percent discount on food for themselves and their families, making dining at Red Robin even more enjoyable. Beyond these perks, the company fosters a positive team environment where fun, connection, and generosity are celebrated daily. Joining Red Robin as a Host provides not only a job but a stepping stone to a rewarding career path filled with learning and advancement opportunities.
