Job Requirements
- A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system
- Restaurant experience a plus
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Knowledge of POS systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods
Job Duties
- Greeting guests as they enter
- Putting guests on a waiting list as necessary
- Seating guests at tables and providing menus
- Assigning guests to preferred tables while maintaining table rotation
- Answering phone calls and taking to-go orders
- Possessing and utilizing knowledge of the menu
- Ensuring smooth seating flow to support servers
