The Hospitality Manager at Jon & Vinny's is an entry-level salaried management role requiring a commitment of 50 hours per week. This critical position supports the day-to-day front-of-house operations, emphasizing service execution, team training, and beverage program standards. The manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring positive guest experiences through maintaining cleanliness, readiness of the facility, and fostering a professional and positive work environment. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Must be available to work 50 hours per week
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to change

Job Qualifications
- Able to perform all essential duties satisfactorily
- Maintain up to date manager Servsafe certification
- Maintain up to date anti-harassment certificate
- Pass and maintain JVRG master trainer certification
Job Duties
- Maintain full mastery of the steps of service and ensure consistency
- Ensure daily adherence to service checklists
- Lead by example in all front-of-house roles
- Uphold and train for all service SOPs including birthdays and takeout protocols
- Focus on table maintenance and reset urgency
- Be visibly present on the floor directing service flow and guest interaction
- Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and build relationships
- Address guest concerns with urgency and escalate when needed
- Collaborate with guest relations and events manager to optimize table management and maximize covers
- Ensure host team delivers enthusiastic first impression hospitality
- Maintain mastery of non-alcoholic beverage program and by-the-glass wine and cocktail knowledge
- Train team members on beverage knowledge and service
- Monitor beverage service stations for consistency and efficiency
- Maintain full knowledge of menus including allergies and substitutions
- Train team to sell and deliver exceptional service
- Train and coach all front-of-house employees with real-time feedback
- Identify team members needing development and provide coaching
- Assist in orientation of new hires
- Reinforce service protocols and policies
- Support pre-shift meetings and service demonstrations
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness and stock levels
- Conduct daily bathroom checks and monitor cleaning checklists
- Oversee maintenance of utility areas
- Track and maintain inventory of front-of-house items
- Develop working knowledge of financial tools and assist with invoices and deliveries
- Support labor management tools and communicate challenges to senior management
- Assist with guest services tasks including reservations and to-go coordination
- Perform other duties as assigned by senior management including floor leadership coverage and team events
