Job Description
Landing is a pioneering company in the flexible living sector, established in 2019. It has rapidly grown to become the largest flexible living network in the United States, spanning more than 35 markets with thousands of apartments available to its members. Landing operates on a no-deposit, no-hassle philosophy, making flexible living convenient and appealing to a wide range of customers. The company emphasizes seamless and efficient customer experiences while continuously evolving its operational model to adapt to real-world demands. This growth-stage company operates dynamically, embracing fast-paced change and shifting priorities to meet the needs of its expanding customer base and property partners.
This position is a market segment ownership role within Landing’s Denver, CO market. The individual in this role will be responsible for managing a segment of properties, focusing on member experience, relationships with property owners, vendors specializing in housekeeping and maintenance, overall unit quality, and all operational aspects concerning the segment. The role entails handling reservations made through Landing’s direct platform as well as through major online travel agency (OTA) partners such as Airbnb and Booking.com. Building and maintaining strong relationships with property partners, resolving member issues efficiently across multiple channels, and reporting market performance to the designated Hub Manager are key responsibilities.
Ideal candidates will have experience in hotel operations, short-term rental portfolio management, or high-volume hospitality environments. Unlike traditional hospitality roles, this position encompasses ownership of an entire market segment rather than a single property, offering significant autonomy to develop and implement new operational playbooks. Candidates must thrive in fast-moving work environments, display the ability to make strategic decisions with incomplete information, and possess skill in both building and utilizing operational systems.
The role’s day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing reservation management across both direct and third-party platforms, ensuring excellent customer service from booking through checkout, maintaining productive relationships with property and housekeeping partners, monitoring key performance indicators such as Net Promoter Score (NPS), customer satisfaction (CSAT), and cleaning quality, as well as coordinating maintenance issues with property management teams. Additionally, this position includes onboarding and launching new properties within the market segment, contributing to the growth and quality standards of Landing’s property portfolio.
The work schedule is primarily Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., but owing to the guest-facing nature of the role, there is a requirement for additional availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays in response to business needs, particularly in peak operational periods such as month-end or high-volume check-in times.
Landing offers extensive benefits and growth opportunities, including competitive base salaries ranging from $55,000 to $75,000, performance bonuses of up to 20% of the base salary, and an annual vehicle and cell stipend totaling $6,600. Employees can also benefit from stock options, a comprehensive benefits package covering medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, disability, mental health, pet insurance, commuter benefits, and flexible spending accounts (FSA) or health savings accounts (HSA). Retirement options include a 401(k) plan and ImmediatePay access. Landing supports work-life balance through generous paid time off and even offers travel perks, including $750 annually in free stays at Landing properties. The company values diversity and inclusivity, being an equal opportunity employer committed to fair hiring practices across various protected classes and statuses.
