Job Requirements

  • Ability to communicate and coordinate with various departments
  • Effective follow-up on guest requests and issues
  • Ability to accurately handle messages

  • Maintain professional appearance and adhere to company policies
  • Ability to stand, sit or walk for prolonged periods
  • Ability to lift or move objects up to 10 pounds
  • Ability to work full time

Job Duties

  • Provide directions and information about hotel amenities, services, service hours and local points of interest
  • Contact appropriate personnel or departments such as Bell Services, Front Desk, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security and Loss Prevention as needed to resolve guest calls, requests or issues
  • Follow up with guests to ensure all requests or issues have been resolved satisfactorily
  • Accurately receive, record and transmit messages
  • Attend to special requests from guests with exceptional needs
  • Communicate VIP arrivals to designated staff to provide appropriate courtesies
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions
  • Maintain a clean and professional uniform appearance
  • Keep proprietary information confidential and protect company assets
  • Anticipate and respond to guest service needs with genuine appreciation
  • Use clear professional language in communication
  • Handle telephones following proper protocol
  • Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with team members
  • Support team goals
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards
  • Identify and recommend new ideas, technologies or processes to improve the organization’s effectiveness, productivity, quality, safety and/or cost savings
  • Stand, sit or walk for extended periods
  • Move objects up to 10 pounds independently
  • Execute other reasonable work duties as requested by supervisors
