The Hospitality & Events Manager is a pivotal role within a premium retail environment that upholds luxury-level service and personalized guest experiences. The hiring company operates in the retail division, focusing on creating memorable in-store hospitality that aligns with an upscale brand image. This establishment is keenly focused on elevating customer satisfaction through attentive service, seamless event execution, and strategic partnership across multiple store locations including Time Machine and Meatpacking. The Hospitality & Events Manager role is a full-time position offering a competitive salary in the range of $85,000 to $100,000 annually.
This position reports directly to the Store Director and acts as a critical liaison among store leadership, corporate teams, and external hospitality management to ensure the highest standards of service are consistently delivered. The role involves managing a dedicated hospitality team tasked with delivering exceptional service marked by the Bucherer Hallmarks, a signature of excellence. By recruiting, training, and developing staff, the manager ensures that every guest interaction is personalized, proactive, and impactful. This management role also encompasses operational oversight including scheduling, performance evaluation, and budget management tailored to sustain efficient and effective hospitality services.
Beyond daily operations, the Hospitality & Events Manager is entrusted with orchestrating a variety of in-store events that resonate with the brand's premium identity. These events are crafted not only to engage guests but to foster business growth by driving client loyalty and meaningful brand experiences. The manager’s responsibilities extend to coordinating every detail of event execution such as vendor management, staffing, and beverage programming, ensuring an unmatched level of quality and guest satisfaction. Evaluating event performance and providing insights to senior leadership further enhances continuous improvement strategies and long-term planning.
The ideal candidate for this position will be a hands-on, interactive leader with extensive experience in hospitality management, ideally possessing sommelier expertise. Demonstrated proficiency in hospitality best practices, quality standards including ISO, and relevant software such as MS Office and ERP systems are essential. Exceptional communication skills coupled with strong organizational and leadership capabilities are vital to thrive in this role. The position demands a flexible schedule to accommodate operational needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The company is committed to equal opportunity employment, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workplace where every individual can succeed and contribute meaningfully.
