Job Description

IREN is a leading vertically integrated AI Cloud provider that specializes in delivering large-scale data centers and GPU clusters to power advanced AI training and inference workloads. With an expansive portfolio of grid-connected land and power assets situated in renewable energy-rich regions across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific, IREN is pioneering sustainable solutions in high-performance computing. The company is deeply committed to operating its data centers using 100% renewable energy, reflecting its dedication to environmental responsibility and positive community impact. This sustainability focus not only positions IREN at the forefront of the tech industry but also aligns with its mission to ensure human progress is achieved responsibly and sustainably.

IREN's Global Sports Partnerships and Growth team manages an exciting and high-visibility portfolio of sports and entertainment partnerships that serve as strategic business platforms. These partnerships enhance enterprise credibility, increase executive access, and generate measurable commercial outcomes for the business. This team is pivotal in cultivating dynamic relationships that advance the company’s goals through impactful and innovative activations in the sports and entertainment sectors.

The company is currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Coordinator to support its hospitality execution, partnership tracking and reporting, and event coordination across its extensive portfolio of partnerships. This full-time, hybrid role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $115,000 per annum, depending on experience. The position also includes access to short-term and long-term incentive programs, comprehensive health benefits, and retirement plans. It reports directly to the Director of Global Sports Partnerships and Growth and requires an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment.

This role is ideal for an early to mid-career professional who is passionate about sports marketing, sponsorships, or event coordination and is eager to gain exposure to the inner workings of a fast-growing public company that is scaling its global partnerships function. The Coordinator will have the opportunity to coordinate logistics for marquee hospitality events in partnership with external agencies, manage VIP guest lists, credentials, travel arrangements, and on-site event execution. They will also be responsible for maintaining partnership tracking tools and preparing internal and leadership-facing reports on partnership activity and activation status.

Key responsibilities also include supporting a variety of internal and external event coordination tasks — from client happy hours and industry conferences to community engagement initiatives — while managing vendor logistics and ensuring flawless day-of execution. The role demands flexibility beyond the standard Monday through Friday workweek, as hospitality events, partner activations, and industry conferences often occur during evenings and weekends. Additionally, the position requires domestic and occasional international travel, estimated at 15-25% annually, with heightened travel during marquee events and conferences.

IREN emphasizes a collaborative culture and values a team-first mentality where no task is too small. The Coordinator is expected to contribute operationally at the core of this highly visible function, supporting internal stakeholders across the global portfolio. The company prides itself on a diverse and inclusive workplace and encourages candidates with varied backgrounds to apply, underscoring the belief that skills can be developed and that unique experiences enrich the team.
