The Hospital Housekeeper role at TriStar Centennial Medical Center is a vital position within the Environmental Services team, responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment to support high-quality patient care. This role is essential in ensuring that all patient care areas and public spaces meet the strict hygiene and safety standards expected by the hospital leadership and regulatory bodies. As a Hospital Housekeeper, you will be entrusted with cleaning duties that directly impact patient experience and safety, making a significant contribution to the overall healthcare delivery process.
In this position, you will follow detailed cleaning protocols to disinfect patient rooms, common areas, and specialized medical environments. Adherence to safety and sanitation requirements is crucial, as is the proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment to maximize efficiency and reduce waste. You will work closely with the leadership team, providing feedback and recommendations on improving patient experience related to cleanliness and environmental services. Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- preferred 1+ years of experience in healthcare
- preferred 1+ years of experience in housekeeping or service-related field
- preferred experience at TriStar Centennial Medical Center or similar facility
Job Duties
- Adhere to expectations around safety and sanitation
- maintain and adhere to Environmental Service uniform and personal appearance standards at all times
- report all hazards and unsafe work conditions
- collaborate with leadership with recommendations for patient experience improvement
- identify under-serviced and/or unserviced areas and how services can be provided
- adapt cleaning processes to add efficiency and effectiveness around the center
- correctly utilize all supplies and resources at all times to eliminate waste
