We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospital Concierge to join our team in a full-time capacity, providing critical non-medical support within a hospital setting. This role is essential in enhancing the overall patient experience by supporting nursing teams and hospital staff, allowing medical professionals to focus fully on clinical care. The Hospital Concierge is a vital frontline presence, acting as a welcoming and empathetic face for patients and their families during their hospital stay.

The Hospital Concierge role entails being the heart of patient hospitality, delivering face-to-face service marked by genuine kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism. Responsibilities will include attending to non-clinical patient needs such as fetching requested items, providing information, and maintaining cleanliness and order in patient rooms and common areas. The position requires physical stamina to stand for extended periods during 12-hour shifts from 10 AM to 10 PM, including weekends.

Job Duties

  • Be the frontline hero, swiftly and cheerfully fulfilling all non-clinical requests from patients, nursing staff, and unit secretaries
  • Help patients with essential needs, from fetching non-medical items to providing information about hospital amenities
  • Cultivate a welcoming and caring atmosphere through your friendly presence, attentive service, and genuine comforting words
  • Help maintain pristine, clutter-free patient rooms and hallways to ensure a clean and pleasant environment
  • Ensure that common areas on the designated floor are organized and inviting
  • Bridge communication between patients and hospital staff to facilitate resolution and ensure patients' non-medical needs are met
  • Listen to patient feedback and concerns, and relay them to the appropriate departments for swift resolution
  • Offer compassionate, empathetic support to patients and their families, being a consistent source of comfort during their hospital stay
