Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years in healthcare sales, business development, or referral marketing
  • Strong existing relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities or home health professionals
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms
  • Sensitivity to the needs of terminally ill patients and their families
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding admissions and census targets
  • Prior experience in hospice, palliative care, or home health is a plus

Job Duties

  • Educate, inform, and inspire confidence in services to ensure timely patient referrals
  • Identify new referral opportunities by engaging hospitals, home health agencies, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, clinics, and physician offices
  • Engage healthcare professionals in meaningful conversations about patient needs and hospice care benefits
  • Plan and execute strategic marketing initiatives to increase awareness and drive referral growth
  • Represent the organization at community events, professional associations, and educational in-services to promote services
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for patients and families, ensuring understanding of hospice options and benefits of early referrals
