The Home Health Speech Language Pathologist role at CenterWell Home Health plays a critical role in delivering rehabilitative care tailored to each patient's unique needs. Under the supervision of the Clinical Manager, this position involves evaluating, directing, and providing speech and language pathology services to patients within their home or facility settings. Speech Language Pathologists at CenterWell utilize their expertise in diagnosing and treating disorders related to speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing. This role requires administering diagnostic tests, interpreting results, and applying appropriate therapeutic treatments, including audiologic screenings. Additionally, the specialist works closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care coordination and effective discharge planning. Documentation and reporting are essential aspects of the role, requiring meticulous preparation and submission of treatment plans, evaluations, and progress reports. This position offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week with an estimated annual salary range of $85,400 to $117,500, reflecting geographic location and experience. Clinicians receive pay on a per-visit/unit rate basis, ranging from $54.00 to $76.00 per visit. The role also involves participation in Humana's tuberculosis screening and driver safety programs, reinforcing the company's commitment to patient and employee safety.
