CAREGivers are responsible for a wide range of duties including light housekeeping, meal preparation, grooming and bathing assistance, medication reminders, and Alzheimer's care among other supportive tasks. Employment with Home Instead offers both day and overnight shifts, providing flexibility to fit the needs of caregivers and clients alike.
Compensation ranges from $20.75 to $25 per hour including a 75 cents per hour tax-free reimbursement, with overtime paid at $30 per hour. Job Requirements
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- complete a criminal background check after conditional employment
- pass a drug screen as required under NYS law
- minimum 2 years experience as a Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide
- valid up to date Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide certificate
