Job Description
Jovie BOSTON is an innovative caregiving service dedicated to bringing joy, support, and companionship to children and seniors across Boston and its surrounding areas. Operating as a specialized caregiving company, Jovie BOSTON focuses on building a community of compassionate caregivers who make a tangible difference in the daily lives of families and seniors. As a locally operated franchise that covers a broad service area including Boston, Lowell, Braintree, the North End, Framingham, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire, Jovie BOSTON is committed to delivering reliable and friendly care with a personal touch. This includes extensive support in childcare, senior companionship, and relevant light domestic assistance in clients' homes.
Jovie BOSTON offers a flexible work environment tailored to caregivers who are passionate about making meaningful impacts while managing their own schedules. Through the innovative My Jovie App, caregivers can set their own availability and pick from a range of caregiving opportunities, ensuring a work-life balance that values their time and preferences. The company hires both full-time and part-time caregivers, offering a competitive starting pay from $20.00 per hour, with the possibility of earning overtime at time and a half for hours worked beyond 40 per week. Being hired as W2 employees, caregivers receive benefits such as accrued sick time, payroll handling, taxes coverage, and workers’ compensation, providing a secure work framework.
This caregiving role is ideal for individuals who thrive in an active, engaging, and supportive environment. Whether you are a nurturing child-care specialist ready to create fun and educational experiences for kids or a warm-hearted companion who assists seniors with companionship and light tasks, Jovie BOSTON welcomes you. Employees are encouraged to bring their personalities and enthusiasm to foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere in every home they visit. The role involves playing games, reading stories, engaging in crafts and creative activities with children, or helping seniors with conversations, outings, and everyday tasks like making tea or tidying up.
Jovie BOSTON's caregiving professionals become part of a close-knit community with excellent support, continuous communication, and opportunities to engage in social gatherings. The company takes pride in fostering a collaborative environment where caregivers feel appreciated and empowered. This role requires reliable caregivers aged 18 and above, with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week (Monday to Friday) and availability within the 7 am to 7 pm or 8 am to 8 pm windows. Reliable transportation is mandatory to accommodate the varied locations across the service territory. Overall, joining Jovie BOSTON means not just a job, but a fun and fulfilling career path dedicated to serving families and seniors with heart and professionalism.
