Job Description

The Hilton Garden Inn San Jose, situated within walking distance of the McCarthy Ranch shopping center in Milpitas, California, is a premier hotel known for its convenient location and exceptional guest services. This completely nonsmoking hotel offers an array of amenities including free wireless internet access, an outdoor pool and hot tub, a fitness center, and a 24-hour business center. Guests can enjoy a delicious start to their day at the on-site Great American Grill or make use of the 24-hour convenience store for meal items to prepare in their rooms with microwaves and mini-refrigerators. The Hilton Garden Inn San Jose prides itself on providing a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, making it a preferred choice for both business and leisure travelers. With its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, the hotel fosters a dynamic workplace culture that values innovation, teamwork, and guest-centric service.

We are currently seeking an energetic and driven Director of Sales to join our dedicated team at Hilton Garden Inn San Jose. This pivotal role is perfect for a sales leader who thrives on connecting with people, crafting winning sales strategies, and inspiring teams to deliver exceptional results. As the Director of Sales, your primary responsibility will be to drive revenue growth by developing creative sales and marketing initiatives that position the hotel as the hottest destination in town. You will be the catalyst for packed rooms and record-breaking sales figures, leading a diverse team with enthusiasm and creativity.

This position is designated as an overtime eligible manager (OEM), meaning you will be expected to work overtime as necessary, with all overtime hours compensated accordingly. You will serve as a key ambassador within the hotel, working closely with the General Manager and collaborating across departments to ensure operational excellence and guest satisfaction. This managerial role calls for someone who is not only a strategic thinker but also a hands-on leader who leads by example and fosters a positive, high-energy work environment. Experience in hotel sales is preferred, with a demonstrated ability to negotiate and close deals effectively. If you possess strong analytical skills, strategic vision, and excellent communication abilities, and if you enjoy motivating teams and building lasting client relationships, then this is the perfect opportunity to advance your career with a reputable brand in the hospitality industry.

Join us at Hilton Garden Inn San Jose and be part of a vibrant team where your contributions will directly impact our growth and the memorable experiences we create for our guests. Celebrate every success with a culture that values recognition, teamwork, and innovation. Your journey to becoming our next sales superstar begins here, with confetti cannons optional but enthusiastically encouraged!
