Job Requirements
- 1-3 years of high-volume kitchen experience
- Culinary degree preferred but not required with strong experience
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 45 lbs
- Exposure to hot, cold, and heavy kitchen equipment
- Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to teach and mentor
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Appreciation for quality ingredients and relationships with purveyors
- Basic computer skills for menu updates and systems
- Culinary degree preferred but not required with strong experience
- Passion for food, wine, and hospitality
Job Duties
- Support the Executive Chef in menu execution and daily kitchen operations
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring consistency and accountability
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and execution
- Oversee food safety, sanitation, and hygiene across all stages of prep and service
- Run and organize the expo line with precision and urgency
- Step in and lead during high-volume service with confidence and composure
- Train, coach, and develop team members
